MemoCept review, updated for 2026

Update, September 22, 2026: this site now covers VapoCept, the newer formula from the team behind MemoCept. Our order links go to VapoCept. The MemoCept review below is kept for reference and comparison.

What MemoCept was

MemoCept is a one-capsule-a-day supplement labelled "Cognitive Support Formula" and "Supports Focus, Memory & Mental Clarity." It comes in 30-capsule bottles, uses a vegetable capsule, and is made in the USA.

The idea behind the formula

MemoCept was built around nitric oxide. L-arginine is the body's raw material for nitric oxide, which helps blood vessels relax, and L-citrulline is converted back into arginine to keep levels up. Beta-alanine raises carnosine, an antioxidant, and niacin is a precursor to NAD+, which cells use for energy.

Our honest take

Arginine and citrulline are well studied for blood flow and exercise performance, but direct evidence that they improve memory or focus in healthy adults is thin. The amounts in MemoCept were also modest compared with the gram-level doses used in most arginine and citrulline research. And no supplement, MemoCept included, has been shown to prevent or treat Alzheimer's disease or dementia.

Why we now cover VapoCept instead

VapoCept, from the same distributor, takes a different approach: ginkgo, turmeric, marigold lutein, green tea and bamboo extracts plus glucosamine, with five of the six ingredients standardized or listed with a concentration ratio. It isn't proven to be better, since the two products haven't been compared directly, but it's the newer formula, it's more thoroughly described on the label, and it includes ginkgo, the most-studied herb in this category.
